After graduating from University of Southern California film school, Matty began editing for scripted and reality television. He quickly rose to edit for several award-winning shows including Entourage and Deadliest Catch. While editing, he gradually put together a director’s reel.

Matty is known for delivering pitch perfect comedic performances with a distinctive visual style. He has helmed spots for NBC Universal, Miller Coors, Amazon, Kellogg, and Malibu Rum.

As much as he loves features and long form filmmaking, he is very attracted to the 30 second short story — commercials. He particularly enjoys making spots that can champion being both visually interesting and gut-busting funny.
