Carlo Quicho is a Filipino-Canadian film director who infuses his work with a unique blend of dark, otherworldly aesthetics and innovative utilization of visual effects. His work often explores systems of intimacy and control in the context of our relationship to technology, immersed heavily in design and visual effects.

Before his film journey he studied biomedical engineering. He also founded Dorodango, a boutique visual effects and post production studio. His work has earned recognition at festivals including the Fantasia International Film Festival, the Berlin Commercial Film Festival, and the Webby Awards.
